Farm Manager

Position: Farm Manager
Location: Windsor Park Stud
Employment Type: Full Time – Permanent

Windsor Park Stud are looking for a Farm Manger for one of our properties just outside of Cambridge, to oversee a stunning 350 acres mixed farming operation, which includes cattle and sheep, as well as thoroughbred horses. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone with proven practical skills, strong initiative, and a solid background in general farming and some experience in stud work would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation of farm machinery, including but not limited to, quad bikes, 4WD’s and tractors
• Daily care, feeding, and movement of all livestock, including managing animal health
• Work with our Windsor Park Farm Manager to ensure NAIT movements are up to date
• Beef & sheep handling skills
• General maintenance and repairs of the farm, including but not limited to fixing water troughs, gates, fences, and basic plumbing including repairs, pasture maintenance, and weed control
• Proven experience working with and managing farm dogs for stock work (e.g., mustering sheep and cattle)
• Horse experience a bonus
• Work alongside farmers on our main farm

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar mixed farming
• Physically fit and willing to work in all weather conditions
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
