Dairy Goat Farm Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Dairy Goat Farm Assistant. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in animal care, and is committed to maintaining high standards across all aspects of farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Milking goats efficiently and maintaining hygiene standards in the milking shed
• Monitoring and supporting animal health, including identifying and reporting any issues
• Feeding goats and ensuring proper nutrition and access to clean water
• Assisting with general farm duties, including fencing, cleaning, and upkeep
• Machinery operation and maintenance
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Good time management and ability to follow routines and schedules
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual farm work
• Attention to detail, especially in animal care and hygiene practices

Experience:
Previous farm or animal handling experience is an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
