Job Description
A person for general work on a beef finishing unit of 30-hectares flat land property located in the Motueka area currently running 40+ R2 and R3 steers with capacity to run 70 to 100 animals. Work to include cattle management, electric fence repairs, chain-saw work and the ability to operate a large tractor.
Hours worked would be on a needs basis spread out over the week. Suitable for a practical person looking for additional hours. GST registered or able to be is essential as payments are for contract work. Hourly rate - $45.00 to $60.00
An interest in forestry or native trees would be helpful as a carbon farming potential is being considered.
