Sheep & beef station - 2,000ha, 17,000su
Motukawa Station is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Hand to join our team on our sheep and beef farming operation located 15 minutes from Taihape on the Napier-Taihape Road.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a varied workload across all aspects of the farm. We’re looking for someone with practical farming experience who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is keen to be part of a supportive, family-owned farming business.
The Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Tractor operation
- Fencing and general farm maintenance
- Fixing water issues
- Helping with stock work occasionally
- Thistle & weed spraying
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience operating tractors and farm machinery
- Good general maintenance and fencing skills
- A current New Zealand driver’s licence
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to health and safety
- Pride in looking after equipment and maintaining high standards
