An exciting opportunity has become available within a large family-owned Wairarapa business which
offers diversity and scale.
Wairio is a 1300ha sheep and beef farm located 15mins from Featherston and
Martinborough.
We are currently seeking a motivated a Shepherd to carry out day to day tasks including daily livestock activities - All cattle are on Halter. This roll is 90% stock work.
The successful applicant requires the following:
·       Good level of stockmanship with 2-3 working dogs
·       Strong communications skills, motivated, organized and good time management.
·       Must be honest and reliable and work well within a team
The shepherd role comes with a competitive remuneration package including a:
Tidy 3-bedroom home with a school bus at the gate, with primary school less than 5 minutes away.
