Herd Manager Position

We are seeking a Herd Manager for our dairy unit, which milks 1,100 cows. The farm is well supported by modern systems, including Halter collars, a 60-bail rotary shed with ACRs, Protrack, and in-shed feeding. Irrigation is through centre pivots and K-lines.

Location

The role is based in Otaio, South Canterbury, approximately 30 minutes south of Timaru and 15 minutes north of Waimate.

Accommodation and Additional Work

A comfortable three-bedroom house is provided, with a log fire and Starlink connection. Work may also be available for a partner.
