Lagoon Hill Station is a 1000ha property situated 25min from Martinborough

We are a small close-knit operation, with passion.

It is predominately med to steeper hill country with 130ha of cultivatable flats

Currently running 7000 SU, Angus Cattle and Romney, Coopworth Ewes with a hybrid influence underway

Lambs are sold at on farm Lamb Sale in Dec, with some specialist finishing taking place going forward

We are currently going through a programme of changes to better fit our goals

Though the position will involve a high percentage of stock work, there will be other normal farm duties required to be completed

If you are a high achiever and driven individual willing to further develop ALL aspects of farming this is for you

We are more than willing to explain our goals and help develop your skills around Feed Budgeting, Genetics, Fertilizer, Crops and more including an understanding of financial targets and Budgets

You will be working alongside the manager and expected to work independently as well, with high standards of and attention to detail.

A team of 4-5 well-mannered dogs is essential.

Shared accommodation and a competitive remuneration package will be provided with rostered time off, some weekend work will be required, it is a farm.

A current driver's License required and NZ citizen
