Rosedale Farming Company is a 750ha mixed arable farm located 10 minutes inland from Oamaru in North Otago. The farm is a mix of 350ha irrigated and the remainder dryland. Crops grown on farm consist of wheat, barley, ryecorn, grass seed, radish, canary seed and sunflowers. Canary Seed and Sunflowers are grown to supply our sister company Topflite, which is a premium pet food wholesaler. In addition to these crops grown, store lambs and store cattle are also fattened on farm. We operate a variety of modern large machinery, utilising GPS and auto-steer technologies.
